The EWP14 is an EWP series acoustic piccolo guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2016. It is made in China. It is also sold packaged with a gig bag as the EWP14WB.
The EWP14 features a tenor-style EW shape with a soft Florentine cutaway and a laminated ovangkol top on ovangkol back and sides with an open pore finish. The round soundhole has an abalone rosette. It has a mahogany neck with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with maple dot position markers. Components include an ivory plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge, a plastic nut and chrome die-cast tuning machines.
For 2018 the rosewood fretboard and bridge were changed to purpleheart. For 2019 the mahogany neck was replaced with okoume.
The EWP13 is a similar model with a Macassar ebony body. The EWP32FM is a similar model with a flamed maple top and sapele back.
