The EWP13 is an EWP series acoustic piccolo guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It is produced in China. It was sold in Japan with a soft case as the EWP13WB.
The EWP13 features a tenor-style EW shape with a soft Florentine cutaway constructed of laminated Macassar ebony top, back, and sides with an open pore finish. The round soundhole has an abalone rosette. The okoume neck joins the body at the 14th fret and has a 19-fret purpleheart fingerboard with maple dot position markers. Components include an ivory plastic saddle in a purpleheart bridge, a plastic nut and chrome die-cast tuning machines.
For 2021 the body was very slightly enlarged.
The EWP14 is a similar model with an ovangkol body. The EWP32FM is a similar model with a flamed maple top and sapele back.
