The EDC700 is an Ergodyne series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1998. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek.
The EDC700 features a double-cutaway sculpted luthite body with a long upper horn bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with white dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez SFR-S (N/B) passive pickups with a Vari-mid preamp with a 3-band EQ, an Accu-cast B20 fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut, black hardware and Ibanez die-cast tuning machine.
The EDC705 is a similar five string version.
The EDC700 was discontinued after 2002.
