The EDB605 is a five string Ergodyne series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1998. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek.
The EDB605 features an ergonomic shaped double-cutaway luthite body with curved back and scooped front bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers, side dots, a graphite nut and a matching headstock. Components include a set of Ibanez DXH pickup's on the neck and bridge positions with and a 3-Band EQ , an Accu-cast B25 solid bridge with 16.5mm string, Ibanez Die-cast machine heads and black hardware.
The EDB600 is a related four string model with an Accu-cast B20 bridge.
The EDB605 was discontinued after 2005.
