DiMarzio IBZ pickups (also known as DiMarzio/IBZ) are specially designed and manufactured for Ibanez by DiMarzio in the US. DiMarzio created special pickups for RG, SA and S models.
Some early series of pickups were also branded as IBZ/USA.
Humbucking pickup used for RG seriesPrestige models in bridge and neck position. According to DiMarzio, the neck pickup is fairly bright-sounding, similar to a DiMarzio Super 2 (DP104). The bridge pickup is a little louder and warmer-sounding, and resembles a cross between the DiMarzio Steve Morse Bridge Model (DP200) and the DiMarzio Super Distortion (DP100).[2] Harmonically alive with medium high output
Single coil pickup used for RG Prestige models in mid position. Well-balanced sound with clear tone. The R1 single-coil is warmer-sounding than a typical vintage single-coil, and was designed to work well with the neck and bridge humbuckers when they are in split mode. It has a sound similar to that of the HS-2 in split-coil mode.[2]
Humbucking pickup used for SA seriesPrestige models in the neck position. Introduced in 2005 for the SA2020FM and also used for the 2006 SA2120FM. Responsive, warm and fat sound with rich harmonics and overtones.
Humbucking pickup used for SA series Prestige models in the bridge position. Introduced in 2005 for the SA2020FM and also used for the 2006 SA2120FM. Provides expanded range of tone and powerful sound with clear sustain.
"Responsive, versatile humbucker with warm classic tone and output. The F1 is identifiable by the pole screws on each coil.
Available with black, white, green, pink or yellow bobbins in the USA Customs.[3]
"Like F1 but more output, enhanced midrange punch and rich dynamics. Recommended for bridge position."[3] "Perfect for hard rock, fusion or classic metal."[4]
Available with black, white, green, pink or yellow bobbins in the USA Customs.[3]
"Full rich sounding neck position pickup. Excellent for high velocity rock and fusion guitar styles."[4] "Similar to the DiMarzio PAF Pro but with slightly increased output."[3]
Typically paired with the F2 and the C2 or C3 in an HSH configuration.

In pursuit of the perfect Iron Label pickup, Ibanez collaborated with DiMarzio® to develop Fusion Edge, a series of pickups dedicated to the fullest expression of Iron Label’s sonic character. Six, seven and eight stringed instruments each have their own requirements and each Fusion Edge pickup model is built to excel in that instrument’s range.
The Fusion Edge pickup series was designed to produce a modern, progressive metal sound, with clarity, power and velocity. The neck and bridge pickups are calibrated in terms of both output and tone quality to work together as well as produce distinctive individual voices. [8]
This model is made exclusively for Ibanez and is not sold separately be DiMarzio. The most similar DiMarzio pickup is the Titan.

Bright, traditional single-coil sound.[6] The output is lower than that of a standard vintage Strat single-coil. This was intentional, because Steve (Vai) wanted the 2 & 4 positions to produce an equal balance between the middle pickup and the split humbuckers, which were originally the PAF Pro. Sounds similar to the non-humbucking sound of the HS-2.
Not much is known about these pickups. They are custom-built for Kiko Loureiro's signature guitars. According to Loureiro they are based on the PAF Pro but have a bit more gain.[9]
DiMarzio says that the closest production model to the KIKO neck humbucker is the Gravity Storm.[10]
