The Daron Malakian series is a Signature line of solid body electric guitar models offered by Ibanez. It is the signature guitar series of Daron Malakian guitarist and vocalist for the American metal band System of a Down.
Malakian's signature model is based off the ICX series "mini-Iceman" guitar.
History[]
The sole model in the line, the DMM1, was introduced for 2004. It was made in Korea and features graphics designed by Malakian's father, Vartan,[1] who also designed the cover art for System of a Down's double album Mezmerize/Hypnotize.[2].
