The DTME is a "Mini-AE" Daytripper series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2001. It was produced in China.
The DTME features a mini dreadnought body with a soft Venetian cutaway spruce top on mahogany back and sides. The round soundhole has a white ring and is trimmed with multi-ply purfling rosette. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include an Ivorex II saddle on a compensated rosewood bridge, an Ivorex II nut, and Die-cast chrome covered machine heads.
Electronics consist of an Ibanez piezo pickup with an Ibanez AEQ201 2-Band EQ preamp.
