The DT4550 is a Destroyer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1985. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Art Graphic series.
The DT4550 features an Explorer-style basswood body with a flame maple top and contrasting binding mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid triangle markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez V5 humbucking pickups mounted in metal pickup rings, a Pro Rock'r double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, Sure Grip II knobs and Smooth Tuner II machine heads. The binding for the black and cherry sunburst finishes is ivory; the red and white finishes have black binding.
