The DT420 is a Destroyer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014 as part of the X series. It was made in China. A previous model with the same name was offered in 2002.

The DT420 features a mahogany body with cream binding mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and split block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups with individual volume controls, a fixed bridge and tailpiece, gold Sure Grip III knobs and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.

The DT425, DT425MH and DT425FM are related spot models with different hardware and finishes. The DT520 is a related model with a different bridge, tailpiece and pickups.

This DT420 was discontinued after 2016.
