The DT420 is a Destroyer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2002. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The DT420 is a reissue of the DT400 from the mid-1990s. Differences from the earlier model include a two-piece unfinished neck replacing a one-piece neck painted to match the body and a new Black Pearl finish replacing the earlier Black.

The DT420 features a bound basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Components include dual Ibanez Quantum humbucking pickups with individual volume controls, a fixed bridge and tailpiece and gold Sure Grip II knobs.

This iteration of the DT420 was offered for only a single year. Another version with the same model name was introduced in 2014.
