The DT1GFM is a Destroyer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2013 as part of the X series. It was a spot model which was offered exclusively by American music retailers Guitar Center and Musician's Friend. It was produced in China.
The DT1GFM features a flamed maple top with cream binding on a mahogany body mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and split block position markers. Components include dual coil-tapped DiMarzio humbucking pickups with individual volume controls and coil-split functionality to simulate a single-coil tone, a fixed bridge and tailpiece and gold Sure Grip III knobs.
The DT520FM is a similar model with chrome hardware and lacking the coil-split functionality. The DT2G was another spot model which was introduced at the same time; it is similar except that it lacks the flamed maple top.
