The DB700 is an Destroyer series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1984. It was made in Japan as part of the X series of pointy bass guitars.

The DB700 features an angular basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers and white side dots. Components include a J6 pickup in the neck position and a J5 pickup on the bridge position with volume, tone and balance controls, an Accu-cast B II bridge, black hardware, a plastic nut and Smooth Tuner B II tuning machines.

The DB800 is a similar model with different pickups, a 2-Band EQ and other finishes.

The DB700 was discontinued after 1985.
