The CTB5 is a five string CT series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1992. It was produced in Korea.

The CTB5 features a double-cutaway alder or light maple body top bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with custom position markers and a black pointy headstock. Components include a pair of EMG select jazz pickups with an active 2-band EQ preamp, a Die-cast 5-string fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut, black hardware and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.

The CTB3 is a related four string version.

The CTB5 was only offered in 1992.
