The BTB846V is a six string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2018. It was made in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line is part of the shorter (838mm/ 33") scale "Volo" series.

The BTB846V features neck through body construction with a poplar burl top and mahogany back on ash wings attached to a 33" (838mm) scale maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. For 2019 the body back material was changed from mahogany to okoume. For 2020 the hardware changed from black matte to black. For 2021 the fretboard material was changed to rosewood.

The BTB845V is a five string version. The BTB846SC is a similar model with a single cutaway body style. The BTB846 is a related standard model with a longer 35" scale neck.
