The BTB845SC is a five string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2018. It was made in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line.
The BTB845SC "Terra Firma" features neck through body construction with a poplar burl top and mahogany back on ash wings attached to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. The body has a single cutaway design with a very prominent upper bout and a narrow, curving lower horn. Components include a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, a finger ramp which matches the top, Mono-rail bridges with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
