The BTB7MS is a seven string multi-scaleBTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2024. It is produced in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line.
The BTB7MS features neck through body construction with a bubinga top over ash and okume wings attached to a maple, panga panga and walnut neck with graphite reinforcement rods and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot postition markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of T1 passive humbucking pickups channeled through an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, individually mounted Mono-rail Vs bridges with adjustable 15.5mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
