The BTB776PB is a six string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2009. It was made in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The BTB776PB features neck through body construction with a poplar burl top on mahogany wings attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini MK-2 passive pickups with a Bartolini preamp with a three-band EQ powered by two 9V batteries, individually mounted Mono-rail II bridges with 17mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
The BTB770PB and BTB775PB are similar four and five string models, respectively. The BTB676 is a similar model with a walnut top on ash body wings.
