The BTB765 is a five string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2021. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The BTB765 features neck through body construction with a flamed maple top and okoume back on ash wings attached to a graphite reinforced maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, Mono-rail bridges with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut, and Ibanez tuning machines.
The BTB766 is a six string version. The BTB745 is a similar model with a walnut top.
