The BTB700DX is a BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2010. It was produced by the Cor-Tek factory in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The BTB700DX features neck through body construction on ash wing body attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl abalone dot position markers and white side dots. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of EMG 40DC pickups with a Vari-mid III 3-band EQ, a MR-2 bridge with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and die-cast tuning machines.
The BTB705DX is a similar five string model.
The BTB700DX was discontinued after 2012.
