BTB625EX Black Flat (more images)

The BTB625EX is a five string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2021. It is produced in Indonesia as part of the Iron Label line.

The BTB625EX features neck through body construction with okoume wings attached to a graphite reinforced maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret ebonol fingerboard. Ebonol is a synthetic material which is made from layers of paper and phenolic resin which provides a tight and bright sound. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups channeled through an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, individually mounted Mono-rail V bridges with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut, and Ibanez tuning machines.

The BTB765 is a similar model with a rosewood fretboard & abalone dot inlays.
