The BTB605MS is a five string multi-scale BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2022. It was made in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line.

The BTB605MS features neck through body construction with a okoume wings body attached to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. Components include a pair of T1 passive humbucking pickups channeled through an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, a finger ramp which matches the top, individually mounted Mono-rail Vs bridges with adjustable 18mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut, and Ibanez tuning machines.

The BTB605MLM is a related model "light multi-scale" with a flamed maple fretboard, the same electronics, but just a one inch difference in scale length between the treble and bass sides. The BTB805MS is a related model with ash body wings with a poplar burl top.
