The BTB576FM is a six string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was produced by the Cor-Tek factory in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The BTB576FM features neck through body construction with figured maple top on a mahogany body attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini® Custom passive pickups with an Bartolini® MK2 3-band EQ preamp, Mono-rail bridges with 17mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and die-cast tuning machines.
The BTB570FM is a similar four string model. The BTB575FM is a similar five string model.
