The BTB575 is a five string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2011. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The BTB575 features neck through body construction with mahogany wings attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini MK2 passive pickups with a Bartolini preamp with a three-band EQ powered by two 9V batteries, individually mounted Mono-rail II bridges with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut, and Ibanez tuning machines.
The BTB775PB is a related model with a poplar burl top. The BTB675 is a related model with a walnut top on ash body wings.
