The BTB510E is a BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2002. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line. It replaced the similar BTB510.
The BTB510E features mahogany bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and white side dots. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini® Custom passive pickups with a Bartolini ITMB 3-band EQ with bypass switch, a Mono-rail II bridge with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a graphite nut and gotoh tuning machines.
The BTB515E is a similar five string model. The BTB1000E is a related model with flamed maple top.
