The BTB510 is a BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2001. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line. It replaced the BTB500.
The BTB510 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and white side dots. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Ibanez DFR-4 passive pickups with a Vari-Mid 3-band Hifi EQ, individually mounted Mono-rail II bridges with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut, and Gotoh tuning machines.
