The BTB475 is a five string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was produced by the Cor-Tek factory in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The BTB475 features neck through body construction with mahogany body attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini® MK2-5 passive pickups with a Bartolini® MK2 three-band EQ preamp, medium frets, Mono-rail bridges with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and die-cast tuning machines.
The BTB470 is a similar four string model. The BTB475AH is a related five string model with ash body and other pickups and electronics.
