The BTB400QM is a BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2001. It was produced by World Musical Instrument Co. in Incheon South Korea as part of the Standard line.
The BTB400QM features basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and white side dots. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Ibanez Dynamix Full Range passive pickups with a Vari-mid Hifi 3-band EQ, a Mono-rail II bridge with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a graphite nut and gotoh tuning machines.
The BTB405QM is a similar five string model. The BTB406QM is a similar six string model.
