The BTB305FM is a five string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was produced in China as part of the Standard line.
The BTB305FM features mahogany body with flamed maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and white side dots. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of IBZ DFR-5 pickups with a Vari-Mid IIIC 3-band preamp EQ, medium frets, a B105 bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and die-cast tuning machines.
The BTB300FM is a similar four string model.
The BTB305FM was discontinued after 2010.
