The BTB1306E is a six string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was made in South Korea as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The BTB1306E features neck through body construction with flamed maple top and maple back on a mahogany body attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini® Custom passive pickups with a Bartolini® Custom 3-band preamp EQ, stainless steel frets, a Mono-rail IV bridge with 17mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
