The BTB1000 is a BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in mid 1999. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The BTB1000 features a mahogany body with flamed maple top and maple back bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot position markers and white side dots. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Ibanez DFR-(B/N)4 passive pickups with a Vari-Mid 3-band EQ with bypass switch, a Mono-rail 2 bridge with 19mm string spacing, a stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
