The BL540 is a Blazer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1997. The Blazer series is a line of guitars with styling similar to the Fender Stratocaster.

The BL540 features an ash body bolted to a maple neck with a color matched headstock and 22-fret maple fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include an Ibanez humbucking pickup in the bridge position and two Ibanez single coil pickups in the middle and neck positions along with a non-locking synchronized tremolo bridge.

The BL440 is a similar model with see-through finishes.

The BL540 was discontinued after just one year.
