The BL500 is a Blazer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1995. The Blazer series is a line of guitars with styling similar to the Fender Stratocaster.

The BL500 features an ash body with a white pickguard bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret maple fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include an Ibanez humbucking pickup in the bridge position and two Ibanez single coil pickups in the middle and neck positions along with a non-locking synchronized tremolo bridge.

The BL100 is a similar model with a basswood body, chrome hardware and a different tremolo. The BL300 is a similar model with a translucent finish, a different tremolo and black pickguard and pickups.

The BL500 was available only in 1995. It was replaced for 1997 with the similar BL540, which has a different tremolo and pickups.
