The BL450 is a Blazer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1981. It was made in Japan by Dyna Gakki. The Blazer series is a line of guitars with styling similar to the Fender Stratocaster.
The BL450 features a birch and basswood body bolted to a rock maple neck with a 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a trio of Ibanez Super 6 single coil pickups mounted in a white pickguard with a phase switch for the middle pickup, a brass tremolo bridge and Smooth Tuner II machine heads.
The BL470 is a similar model with a pair of humbucking pickups. The BL400 is a related model with a fixed bridge and chrome hardware.
The BL450 was discontinued after 1982 along with the entire Blazer line.
