The BL240 is a Blazer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1997. The Blazer series is a line of guitars with styling similar to the Fender Stratocaster.

The BL240 features an alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret maple fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include an Ibanez humbucking pickup in the bridge position and two Ibanez single coil pickups in the middle and neck positions along with a non-locking synchronized tremolo bridge.

The BL440 is a similar model with an ash body.

The BL240 was discontinued after 1998 along with the entire Blazer series.
