The Artcore series is a line of semi-acoustic hollow body and semi-hollow body electric guitars produced for Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. The first Artcore models were introduced in the summer of 2002.
The Artcore series represents the affordable end of Ibanez semi-acoustic guitars. Initially it was positioned under the Artstar line. Various other sub-categories of the Artcore have been offered throughout the years, including the Artcore United, Artcore Custom, Artcore Vintage, Artcore Expressionist among others. Artcore guitars have been offered continuously since 2002.
