The Artcore Expressionist series is a line of semi-acoustic hollow body and semi-hollow body electric guitars produced for Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. The Artcore Expressionist series was introduced for 2013, supplanting the Artcore Custom series.
The Artcore Expressionist series represents the mid-tier of semi-acoustic instruments for 2005, slotting between the flagship Artstar series (which was reintroduced in 2013) and the more affordable Artcore series. The Artcore Expressionist series has remained in production since 2013.
For 2017 the Artcore Expressionist Vintage series was introduced. This line includes distressed, "vintage" versions of models similar to those in the regular Expressionist line.
