The Accu-Cast is a guitar bridge and tailpiece used on various hard-tail Ibanez models. It was introduced in 1979 as the bridge for the initial Roadster series models. It was also used on Blazer and Roadstar II series guitars.
The Accu-Cast bridge is cast from brass with chrome plating. It has a united sustain block and six individual offset saddles which can be adjusted separately both for height and intonation. Height is adjusted using a pair of grub screws in the leading edge of the saddle, while intonation is adjusted using individual screws running through the back of the tailpiece with tension provided with springs.
The strings are loaded through the body.
