The AZES31 is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2021. It is produced in Indonesia as part of the new AZES or "AZ Essentials" line which is an affordable extension of the AZ series.
The AZES31 features a poplar body bolted to a maple neck with a jatoba fingerboard with white dot position markers. Its slightly shorter 25-inch scale length makes the AZES ideal for younger or smaller players. Components include, an F106 fixed bridge with comfort round steel saddles, a trio of Essentials single coil pickups mounted in a cream pickguard, and die-cast tuning machines. An "Alter" switch provides access to series-connected voices and more.
The AZES40 is a related model with HSS pickup configuration.
