The AXD82P is an Artcore series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2005. It was made in China.
The AXD guitars have a compact, arched top, single-cutaway, full-hollow body design which offers the warm tones of a full-hollow design without the bulk. It has an arched top and a flat back.
The AXD82P features an arched, laminated spruce top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on mahogany back and sides mated to a set-in maple and mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and
special AXD tribal design block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups with chrome covers mounted in ivory pickup rings, an ART-1 Tune-o-matic style bridge with a trapeze tailpiece, a plastic nut, speed knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines with half moon buttons.
The AWD82 is a related semi-hollow model.
This AXD82P was discontinued after just one year and replaced with the AXD83P which has different fretboard inlays.
