The AXD/AXF series is a line of hollow body electric guitars produced for Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. The AXD body type is a compact, full-hollow, arched-top, single cutaway electric guitar. The AXF is a similar non-cutaway model. The AXD and AXF bodies were introduced in late 2003.
The initial models were the AXD71 and AXD81 duo and the AXF74 which were all part of the Artcore series. These were followed by a few additional models over the next couple of years. Both styles were discontinued after 2006.
