The AX120 is an AX series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2018. It is produced in China.
The AX120 features a poplar body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret treated New Zealand pine fingerboard with binding and white block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Classic Elite humbucking pickups, a fixed bridge and tailpiece and a tortoise shell pickguard.
For 2019 the poplar body was switched to basswood and the treated New Zealand pine fretboard was swapped for jatoba. For 2020 the bridge was changed to the new Gibraltar Performer and a new copper metallic finish was introduced.
The AX230T is a related model with three humbuckers and a vibrato.
The AX120 was discontinued after 2021.
