The AW60DM is an Artwood series acoustic-electric model introduced by Ibanez for 1980. It was produced in Japan.
The AW60DM features a dreadnought body with solid sikta spruce top on mahogany back and sides. The round soundhole is trimmed with fancy rosette and a solid rosewood pickguard. The selected mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod has a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a rosewood headstock. Components include Dual-Mix system with a piezo-ceramic transducer and a high quality miniature condenser microphone in a special remote mixing box. Tru-Tune saddle on a ebony bridge, a bone nut and chrome velve tune machine heads.
The AW60 is a similar model missing the Dual mix system.
