The AW54JR is an Artwood series medium scale acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2018. It is produced in Indonesia replacing a predecessor version with was made in China with minor differences.
The AW54JR features a dreadnought junior body shape with a solid okoume top on laminated okoume sides and back with an open pore finish. The top features a spruce comfort forearm contour on the upper bout and a round soundhole with a simple black and white acrylic rosette. The 24" scale mahogany neck has a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include an ivory plastic compensated saddle in an ovangkol bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, a red tortoise pickguard and chrome tuning machines.
