The AW535 is an Artwood series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2014. It was made in China.
The AW535 features a dreadnought body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top with maple binding on rosewood sides and a three piece rosewood and flamed maple back with wooden mosaic inlay and a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone rosette and a black pickguard. It has a mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with maple binding and maple dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and chrome Grover die cast tuning machines with half-moon buttons.
The AW535CE is a related acoustic-electric model with a cutaway body. The AW500 is a similar model with a rosewood back. The AC535 is a related model with a grand concert body.
