The AW400L is a left-handed Artwood series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2014. It was made in China and was sold only in the USA.
The AW400L features a dreadnought body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top with tortoise shell binding and gloss finish on mahogany back and sides with a satin finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone rosette. It has a mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, a tortoise pickguard and chrome Grover open gear tuning machines with ivory buttons.
The AW400 is a right-handed version. The AW400LCE is an acoustic-electric version with a cutaway body.
