The guitar is finished with a natural gloss. The soundhole is round with a simple black and white acrylic rosette and a tortoiseshell pickguard. It has a mahogany neck with a satin finish and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with special mother of pearl position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and chrome Grover open gear tuning machines with butterbean buttons.

The AC3400JP is a related model with a grand concert body.
