The AW3010CE is an Artwood series acoustic-electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2012. It was produced in China.
The AW3010CE features a dreadnought body shape with a Venetian cutaway constructed of a solid Engelmann spruce top with rosewood binding on solid mahogany sides and two-piece back with a rosewood backstrip inlay and a natural high gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone and wooden rosette and no pickguard. It has a mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with rosewood binding and abalone dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and gold Grover tuning machines with black buttons.
Electronics consist of an L.R. Baggs Element under saddle pickup feeding an L.R. Baggs EAS-VTC preamp powered by a 9V battery and feeding a ¼" endpin output.
For 2013 the top was changed to Sitka spruce and the body depth increased slightly.
The AW3010 is an acoustic-only version without the cutaway. The AW3050CE is a related model with a cedar top. The AW3000CE is a similar model with a high gloss finish, brown pearl tuner knobs and a black pickguard.
The AW3010CE was discontinued after 2013.
