The AW3000 is an Artwood series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2010. It was produced in China. It was also sold in a package with a lightweight acoustic case as the AW3000WC.
The AW3000 features a dreadnought body shape with a solid Engelmann spruce top with rosewood binding on solid mahogany sides and two-piece back with a rosewood backstrip inlay and a natural high gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone rosette and a black pickguard. It has a mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with rosewood binding and abalone dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with white Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and gold Grover tuning machines with brown pearl buttons.
For 2013 the top was changed to Sitka spruce and the body depth increased slightly.
The AW3000CE is an acoustic-electric version with a cutaway body. The AW3010 is a similar model with a low gloss finish and no pickguard. The AW3050 is a similar model with a cedar top with a low gloss finish and no pickguard. The AC3000 is a similar model with a grand concert body.
The AW3000 was discontinued after 2014.
