The AW28 features a dreadnought body with solid spruce top with black and white binding on rosewood back and sides. The round soundhole is trimmed with black and white purfling rosette and has a black pickguard. The selected mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a rosewood headstock.
