The AW28SCE is an Artwood series acoustic/electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1995. It was produced in South Korea.
The AW28SCE features a dreadnought body shape with a venetian cutaway with a solid spruce top with herringbone binding on rosewood back and sides with oil finish. The soundhole is round with black and hite purfling rosette. It has a mahogany neck with a 20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with snow-flake position markers. Components include an ivory plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, a plastic nut, a shell color pickguard and gold die-cast tuning machines. Electronics consist of piezo pickup connected to a IBZ AEQ-20 preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and a ¼" output.
